Design roster. He is a huge talent whose work you’ll know – he designed last year's
brilliant Morrisons Christmas commercial for SI & AD (Academy) and the award
winning (Best Art Direction - MTV Awards 2011) and now iconic promo for Adele’s
Rolling in the Deep directed by Sam Brown (Flynn). NATHAN has also worked with

DOP JAMIE CAIRNEY joins Wizzo & Co's roster for commercials…
JAMIE CAIRNEY has been represented for features / drama through Wizzo FEATURES
for the last two years, and we're now happy to announce that JAMIE has officially
joined Wizzo & Co for commercials and music promo representation.
JAMIE shot the award winning 2011 X Box spot for Becky Martin (2AM) that features
Kylie Minogue.
He has also worked on critically acclaimed series' such as THE THICK OF IT and
CARDINAL BURNS, and in 2009 he shot the feature IN THE LOOP directed by
Armando Iannucci and staring Peter Capaldi and James Gandolfini.

DOP DAVID PROCTER JOINS THE ROSTER...
Hello
We are very pleased to announce that we have signed DOP DAVID PROCTER to
the Wizzo & Co roster.
Of late DAVID's work has featured heavily on Promo News - he recently shot two
ASOS spots for director Luke Monaghan, an online film for NOWNESS Magazine
directed by Ryan Hopkinson (White Lodge) and Tim & Joe's (White Lodge) latest
promo for Revolver.
The NOWNESS spot is a gastronomic FEAST focusing on the work of 'Demon
Chef' Alvin Young, so if you're looking for DARK and ABSTRACT food
photography this is certainly the spot to watch – all effects were achieved in
camera using the ALEXA and ARRI (1950s converted) Kilfitt Munchen Macro
lenses… the full length version can be seen in the above TEASER SHOWREEL.
DAVID works regularly with directing collective Institute for Eyes (Somesuch &
Co), as well as Simon Ellis (Mad Cow), for whom he shot the short film JAM
TODAY that has played at more than 30 festivals worldwide and won Best British
Short at Encounters Int'l Film Festival (Bristol), and director Peter King.
DAVID's work is superbly photographic, he is extremely technical and is very
much dedicated to his craft and we're VERY excited to have him on the roster.

SAM CARE has been represented for features / drama through Wizzo FEATURES for
a little over a year, and we're now happy to announce that SAM officially joins Wizzo
and Co for commercials and music promos representation.
SAM recently shot Amnesty International's 'Fight Shell' spot for Nick Collet (Salt),
works regularly with Samuel Abrahams (SAM shot Samuel's BAFTA nominated short
CONNECT as well as multiple commercials) and also shot Aubrey Woodiwiss\' two
recent music promos fro Hadouken.

The OLYMPICS are nearly upon us and so we have dedicated the majority of our
homepage to the OLYMPIC theme with OLYMPIC sponsored commercials…
You will therefore find two McDONALD'S commercials available to view on our
homepage… the first was directed by Neil Gorringe (Moxie Pictures) and shot by
ROSS McLENNAN with TOM GANDER as Production Designer, and the second was
directed by Colin Gregg (Thomas Thomas) and shot by FEDERICO ALFONZO.
You will also find two ADIDAS commercials… JAMES HATT was the Production

TONY C MILLER joins Wizzo & Co's DOP Roster...

Many of you already know TONY as he has been working as a Gaffer very
successfully for a number of years. Whilst Gaffer-ing TONY began to shoot
commercials / music promos for Production Companies including Home Corp,
Love, HSI London and Stamp and in 2012 began lighting full time.
TONY joins us with some great beauty and fashion work under his belt and some

DOP ERIK WILSON's feature, directed by Paddy Considine, picked up the BAFTA for
Outstanding Debut at Sunday's awards ceremony. Congrats.
In the commercials world Erik recently shot a McDonald's commercial directed by
Vince Squibb (Gorgeous), and has recently wrapped on a commercial produced
through Smugger and directed by The Guard Brothers... the latter you'll see on his
showreel shortly...

SARAH JENNESON + LAURA JOHNSTONE Join the PRODUCTION DESIGNER Roster
Wizzo & Co PERSONAL MANAGEMENT are very pleased to announce that SARAH
JENNESON and LAURA JOHNSTONE have joined our PRODUCTION DESIGNER roster.
LAURA JOHNSTONE studied Fine Art Sculpture at the University of Brighton. She has
worked (and works regularly) with Conkerco, Peter Cattaneo and Kim Geldenhuys
(Academy) on commercials for Youngs, McDonald’s and Dove, and has designed
some great music promos for Marina & the Diamonds (Kim Gehrig), The Prodigy
and The Horrible Crowes (Corin Hardy), as well as Feist’s latest promo (soon to be
released) directed by Nabil (A+).
SARAH JENNESON joins us having studied Fine Art at Leeds University and an F.D.I
at Pinewood Studios in Draughting and Art Directing. She has designed
commercials for Specsavers, directed by Henry Littlechild (Outsider), and Nokia,
directed by D.A.R.Y.L. (Pulse), and works regularly with James Rouse and Russell
England (Outsider). In the world of music promos, SARAH has worked with Emil
Nava (Pulse), Chino Moya and Chris Cottam (H S I).

DAVID LUTHER is about to wrap on the drama HIT & MISS...
... which stars CHLOE SEVIGNY as a transsexual contract killer. The drama is
produced by Red Productions for HBO and Sky Atlantic, and directed by Hettie
Macdonald.
David is back in the land of commercials from 7 November onwards...

NO DISTANCE LEFT TO RUN - Grammy Nomination 2010
The Blur feature documentary shot by Ross McLennan has been nominated for a GRAMMY in the BEST LONG FORM MUSIC VIDEO CATAGORY. The feature was directed by thirtytwo and produced through Pulse Films.
The ceremony is held on February 13 2011.
Ross was also nominated for BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY for the second year in a row at this year's CamerImage Festival in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

Stuart Bentley's FIRE IN BABYLON Premieres at the BFI LFF 2010
FIRE IN BABYLON, directed by Stevan Riley and produced by Passion Pictures (producers of the Oscar winning ONE DAY IN SEPTEMBER), premieres at the BFI London Film Festival 2010.
The documentary feature examines the success story of the West Indian cricket team of the 1970s and 1980s, which coincided with a time of apartheid in South Africa, race riots in England and civil unrest in the Caribbean. The film therefore argues that their success proved a major inspiration in the struggle for black equality.
FIRE IN BABYLON celebrates the golden age of Windies cricket, featuring interviews with playing legends, exhilarating archive footage and a great soundtrack from the likes of Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs and Burning Spear.
Shot beautifully by STUART BENTLEY, if you're a fan of cricket, you're in for a treat.

BBC2 - FEDE ALFONZO shoots BBC sitcom ROGER AND VAL HAVE JUST GOT IN.
New BBC2 sitcom ROGER & VAL HAVE JUST GOT IN airs from 6th August at 22.00pm. It follows the lives of a middle-aged couple during their first half-hour home from work. Shot by FEDE ALFONZO, directed by Jamie Rafn and starring Dawn French and Alfred Molina.

EMMY Nomination
The wonderfully innovative COCA-COLA: FINALS commercial, shot by ANTONIO PALADINO and directed by DANIEL KLEINMAN (Rattling Stick) has been nominated for an EMMY in the OUTSTANDING COMMERCIAL category. The commercial illustrates the efforts of miniaturised historical characters attempting to wake a young student in danger of missing his history exam - it's almost like a historical epic in miniature form! The awards take place on 29th July 2010 so watch this space!!!

Karl Oskarsson WINS Czech OSCAR
Karl has picked up the Czech Lion Award for Best Cinematography for his latest feature 3 SEASONS IN HELL, directed by Tomas Masin.
The feature is set in Prague in 1947, and is inspired by the fate of one of the best known characters of the Czechoslovak literary scene, Egon Bondy.
It is scheduled to his the festival circuit this year.

MOON: Winner - BIFA Best British Independent Film
MOON, directed by Duncan Jones and shot by Gary Shaw, has won the BIFA award for Best British Independent Film. Duncan Jones also picked up the Douglas Hickox Award (Best Debut Director).
This is great news for both Gary Shaw and MOON.
Gary is repped by Wizzo & Co. for commercials, and by Wizzo FEATURES for features and drama.

Steve Barron: Will Bex & James Hatt...
Will recently shot and James recently designed a trailer for a sci-fi pilot, SLINGERS SIZZLER, which was directed by Steve Barron. The pilot wrapped shortly after Steve signed to Just Another Film Company.
Steve directed many iconic music videos, including A Ha's TAKE ON ME, Michael Jackson's BILLIE JEAN and Dire Straits' MONEY FOR NOTHING.
The trailer will be completed later this year... watch this space...

Stuart Bentley joins Wizzo & Co's DoP Roster
Stuart Bentley, initially repped by Wizzo FEATURES, Wizzo & Co's features arm, is now also represented for commercials and music promos by Wizzo & Co. Stuart was signed to Wizzo FEATURES immediately after graduating with an MA in Cinematography from the NFTS in 2008. His graduation short, OUTCASTS, directed by Ian Clark, won Best Short at Fuji Shorts 2009, with Stuart also receiving a nomination for Best Cinematography. Stuart then went on to shoot his first feature/documentary, WAR IN BABYLON, on location in Jamaica. It was directed by Stevan Riley and produced by Charles Steel (who produced THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND). Baz Irvine / Jake Polonsky...
... have signed to Wizzo & Co's DoP roster.
Wizzo & Co are delighted to announce two recent DoP signings - BAZ IRVINE and JAKE POLONSKY.
BAZ returns to Wizzo & Co after approximately five years' representation at Casarotto, rejoining us with a strong body of BEAUTY and live action work including spots directed by Rankin & Chris (HSI London), Hattie Dalton (Home Corp) and Steve Bendelack (Spank). Also very established in the world of drama, Baz shot the OSCAR winning short, SIX SHOOTER (2006), directed by Martin McDonagh, and the £18m feature, MR BEAN'S HOLIDAY (2007), directed by Steve Bendelack.
JAKE joins us from McKinney Macartney with an equally strong body of work that includes commercials and music promos. He recently shot Samuel & Gunnar's (Crossroads) SAMSUNG commercial (a mixture of live action & 3D), and a PERSIL spot directed by Si & Ad (Academy). Jake worked with Nez (Colonel Blimp) on Lily Allen's THE FEAR, and also shot James Morrison's GOODBYE MY LOVER, directed by Sam Brown (Flynn) and CADS nominated for Best Cinematography in 2006 - an accolade that Jake won in 2004.

Wizzo & Co joins the Comic Relief shenanigans with 2 spots for Comic Relief, one that features the motley fictional crew of comedy television, from the 118 118 fellows, to Bertie Bassett, to an operatically trained Honeymonster... shot by Ulrik Boel Bentzen and directed by Steve Bendelak (Spank), and the other a Comic Relief promo directed by Harvey (Crossroads) and shot by Adrian Wild. Funny...

MVAwards Nominations 2008
Ross McLennan and James Hatt have both received MVA nominations in the BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY and BEST ART DIRECTION catagories respectively.
Ross has been nominated for the Dave Ma directed promo, FOALS: Olympic Airways; and James has been nominated for the OneInThree directed promo, BADLY DRAWN BOY: Promises.
Both Ross and James are relatively new signings for Wizzo & Co., with Ross joining us in April 2008, and James earlier this month, a clear indication that Wizzo & Co is continuing to sign the best new talent in the industry - a view that is supported by the fact that 3 promos in the Best Pop Promo catagory were shot by Will Bex, signed to Wizzo & Co's roster in August 2007!

... today joins Wizzo & Co's Art Director roster. James designed the hugely successful NOMIS: Damn Boots commercial that won the director, Woof Wan Bau, through Nexus Productions, two Gold Lions at Cannes 2008. He also joins with an extremely strong music promo reel, having designed promos for artists such as Duffy, Calvin Harris and Kate Nash. Watch this space...

Wizzo & Co's new website LAUNCHED!!!
On 1st August 2007, Wizzo & Co launch their newly designed web site with a facility that enables content to be updated in-house quickly and efficiently.
Showreels and CVs of DPs and Production Designers are updated on a regular basis. Also available are CVs and any showreels of Diary Service technicians. Recent work plays on the homepage.
