NICK DANCE BSC has received BAFTA, RTS and GTC cinematography awards and nominations throughout his career, with notable dramas including SKINS, BODIES, SHAMELESS, CALL THE MIDWIFE and THE SYNDICATE, and period dramas MR. SELFRIDGE, THE PARADISE and MANSFIELD PARK. Nick has also shot a number of documentaries including NUREMBERG: GOERING’S LAST STAND directed by Peter Nicholson, which won a BAFTA for Specialist Factual Programme, and in 2012 the feature documentary DON’T THINK, about THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS, directed by Adam Smith. More recently Nick shot the final episodes of ITV’s new drama series, BRIEF ENCOUNTERS about Anne Summers reps in the Eighties starring Penelope Wilton. Other projects include, PROFESSOR BRANESTAWM RETURNS starring Diana Rigg, THE INTERCEPTOR for director Richard Senior, Episode 1 of Lionsgate’s comedy THE ROYALS starring Liz Hurley and directed by Mark Schwahn, and OUR GIRL, directed by Anthony Philipson which Nick won the GTC Award for Excellence in Cinematography. Nick shot the feature DARTMOOR KILLING, a psychological thriller set in Devon which won Best Thriller at the National Film Awards 2016. Recently he completed the feature B&B which is set for release later this year, written and directed by Joe Ahearne. Nick latest work includes 3 part thriller THE REPLACEMENT directed by Joe Ahearn, and POLDARK Season 3 directed by Josh Agnew.
