David shot the feature film JUMP (2012) on location in Ireland, directed by Kieron J. Walsh, and the Film London, BORROWED TIME (2013), directed by Jules Bishop. For television he shot THE SNIPIST as part of the Playhouse Presents Season (2012) that was directed by Matthew Holness, starred Douglas Henshall and was produced through Warp Films, and also APHRODITE FRY, directed by Vanessa Caswill and produced through Ruby Films. David shot THE CHANGELING, a short film commission by the Young Vic in association with The Guardian that was directed by Joe Hill-Gibbins and produced by Gary Richens. More recently he shot the Italian feature film THE REPAIRMAN, directed by Paolo Mitton and produced through Seven Still Pictures. The film premiered at Raindance Film Festival 2013 and was nominated for Best Debut Feature. David shot THE PSYCHOPATH NEXT DOOR, a pilot for ITV directed by Kieron J Walsh, the BBC comedy drama TWO DOORS DOWN directed by Catherine Morshead and for ITV episodes of MR SELFRIDGE II directed by Laurence Till. In 2014, David was the lead cinematographer on a BBC one-episode special of THE WRONG MANS with director Jim Field-Smith. He then shot E4’s BANANA with director Lewis Arnold, who he went on to work with on Kudos’ science fiction drama HUMANS. David was the lead cinematographer on the 5 part drama series THIRTEEN for BBC3 directed by Vanessa Caswill, which stars Jodie Comer as a young girl who escapes from captivity after 13 years.
