PROFILE
David is a London based director of photography working internationally across film, commercials and promos. With a background in cinematic documentary David was nominated for a British Independent Film Award in 2008, 3 times nominated at CamerImage for his documentary work and recently nominated in short-fiction at Manaki Brothers Cinematography Festival. His work has toured the festival circuit and received awards, nominations and jury mentions in festivals across over 45 countries worldwide. Immersed in the London TVC, promo & fashion industries, David is drawn to evocative subject matter, whether derived from fact or fiction, maintaining a careful balance of commercial and dramatic projects. Well versed in VFX shooting and constantly traveling, David’s commercials & promos have garnered praise from the likes of the MVAs, Rushes, ARTE, Vila do Conde and Kiev International Advertising Awards.
